Terms of use

The basis on which ReportCryptoScam may be used and reports may be submitted.

Operator

ReportCryptoScam is operated by Bitint Inc.

Nature of the service

The platform publishes reports submitted by members of the public, alongside observations derived by the platform. It is an information service. It is not a law-enforcement authority, a regulator, a legal adviser or a fund-recovery service, and it does not promise any investigation, enforcement or recovery outcome.

No verification warranty

Reports are allegations. They are published as submitted and may be incomplete, mistaken or contested. Nothing on this site should be treated as an established fact or as a determination that any person or organisation has committed an offence. Users must exercise their own judgement and, where appropriate, seek independent advice.

Submitting a report

  • Submit information in good faith and only where you believe it to be accurate.
  • Deliberately false, malicious or retaliatory reports are prohibited.
  • Do not upload sensitive personal information unless it is necessary to the report.
  • Do not submit content you have no right to share.
  • By submitting, you grant permission for the report content to be published and retained in the public database.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the platform to harass, threaten or defame.
  • Do not attempt to scrape, overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service.
  • Do not present platform content as an official or legal finding.

Moderation and removal

Reports may be edited, labelled, withheld or removed where they appear inaccurate, abusive, unlawful or outside the purpose of the database. See the FAQ for dispute and correction requests.

Limitation of liability

[Placeholder: limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law and jurisdiction clauses are pending final legal review.]

Changes

These terms will be updated as the platform develops.
